Emergency Management Recovery Process
Overview
Moving from Response to Recovery is based on :
Immediate priorities for the rescue and control of the event
have been met. Emergency response operations are waning and a focus on long term
recovery is more pressing. The milestones which show that you are entering this
phase are:
Emergency response teams and resources are being released and
demobilized.
Emergency responders are focusing on other incidents apart
from the main event.
Immediate life safety issue are resolved (firefighting,
rescue, active shooters, scene containment, investigation is starting.
