About the Instructor: Professor McGrath
Greetings!
It's great to have you here! Here's a little bit about the instructor ...
Prof. Marc McGrath completed Post-Graduate studies at San Diego State University,
received a Masters degree in Humanities from California State University
Dominguez Hills and holds a Bachelors degree in English from the University of
the State of New York.
Prof. McGrath received a Teaching Credential with qualifications in English, English as a Second Language, Reading, and Social Sciences. In addition, he has certificates in Adult Education and Research for Writing from California State University Sacramento, and is certificated in English Writing through Rutgers State University.
His teaching background reflects his academic areas of
interest: Humanities, Literacy, English, Arts and Culture in both online and
traditional classroom environments. Prior to entering the education field, he
was an executive in charge of regional training and operations for a national
human resources company.
Prof. McGrath is based in Southern California and you can usually find him
spending his lunch hour at the beach or practicing at the driving range (when he
can sneak away from his two wildly energetic terriers who love long walks).
Welcome to class!
