About the Instructor: Mr. Dorn

Hello, I am Mr. Dorn and I am a math instructor at Barstow College, and a whole lot more. The picture to your right is somewhat telling. Yes, I am an outdoor enthusiast and enjoy a host of outdoor activities. I am originally from Oregon, both the Portland and Salem areas. I graduated high school from Forest Grove High School and went to Western Oregon State University. There I majored in Math with a Chemistry minor. I took some time off of school and worked for a wilderness therapy company where I would go on 21 day expeditions with teens that needed help and guidance. After that, I decided to go back to school and I received a degree from Oregon State University (Go Beavers!!!!!!!!) in Advanced Math Education. Somehow I ended up in southern California but am enjoying life, doing math, and building web pages. What more could a person ask for?
