About the Instructor: Mr. David Grossman

My name is David Grossman and I am a full-time Physical Education Instructor for Barstow Community College. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree in Physical Education from California State University, Fullerton.  I am in my Fourteenth (14) year at BCC and I teach Fitness Lab Classes, Online General Activity and Sport Psychology.  Prior to coming to Barstow Community College, I was an Instructor at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho for 4 years.  While at LCSC, I taught Sports Officiating, Sport Administration, Sport Psychology, Weight Training, and Soccer. Before LCSC, I was a adjunct faculty member at Cerritos College (Norwalk, CA) where I taught numerous P.E. activity classes and coached women's basketball.

I served as the Men's Basketball Coach at Barstow Community College for 10 years and have a total of 20 years of collegiate coaching experience.

I have been married to my beautiful wife, Jolie for 17 years. We have two fantastic boys: Kyle, 20 yrs. old and Donovan, 16 years old.
