Biography:

My name is Mr. Alatorre and I'll be your instructor this semester. I'm originally from California and moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to complete my graduate degree at the University of Tennessee. Upon graduating, I was hired to teach for a university in North Carolina. There I learned the importance of motivating students and putting the "fun" back into learning. Several years later I moved back to Knoxville and opened a small business. Within a very short time, that small business became a national enterprise. During such time, I never lost my love for teaching and longed for the day I would return to the classroom, lecture halls and to the students. As luck would have it, that day has arrived and now I have the wonderful opportunity of passing on what I have learned to others. I truly feel that teaching is the most wonderful skill in the world. I'm looking forward to working with all of you and helping you through the wonderful world of communications.
